About Me

I am currently a Control Systems engineer working at Raytheon Missile Systems in Tucson, AZ.  I’m always on the lookout for the next project that will challenge me and help me grow technically.  Any opportunity in an unfamiliar field that will allow me to do so sounds real challenging and exciting to me.

Outside of work I have a few hobbies that consume the rest of my time.  I enjoy paragliding and rock climbing when the weather is good, pretty much year round in Tucson.  And I am also a big DIY/hobbyist. I like to make everything I can over buying them (within reason).  This involves things like yogurt and kombucha (almost weekly) to sleeping bags for ultralight backpacking.

I do a lot of PCB design and assembly outside of work for personal projects. Most of my designs are limited to my hand soldering abilities, and each design I try to push that limit further (now down to hand soldering 0402s and fine pitch QFNs! ).  Each design, I not only try to make as small as possible, but also as energy efficient as possible too.  I have a few of my projects listed on my Github.
